(USA TODAY) -- Bobbi Kristina Brown and Nick Gordon are engaged.
The engagement is confirmed in a new clip from Lifetime's reality show "The Houstons: On Our Own," kicking off on Oct. 24.
Rumors have been floating around since August that 19-year-old Bobbi Kristina had gotten engaged to adopted brother/boyfriend Nick Gordon, but Bobbi Kristina denied it.
In the E! News clip, Bobbi Kristina tells the family, "We're engaged!"
But the happy news doesn't go over well, especially, it seems, with aunt Pat Houston, manager and executor of Whitney's estate, who responds to the news by saying, "Unacceptable."
