AMD ha reso disponibile due nuove versioni di driver Catalyst compatibili con schede video dalla serie Radeon HD 5000 in poi. I primi driver sono quelli Catalyst 12.10 WHQL, evoluzione della precedente release ufficiale che integra alcune migliorie ma non cambiano radicalmente il quadro dal punto di vista prestazionale. Quelli Catalyst 12.11 beta introducono invece numerose ottimizzazioni prestazionali per le schede Radeon HD 7000 e sono peertanto indicati per i videogiocatori.
