4. Train derailment in Spain kills 77
A Spanish court official says 77 people were killed when a passenger train derailed on a curvy stretch of track in northwestern Spain in what was one of the country's worst rail accidents in decades.
5. Deadly motorcycle wreck
Police said a 56-year-old Kennesaw man was killed when his motorcycle was struck by a car late Wednesday night on Cobb Parkway in Marietta.
6. Unidentified stomach bug
Federal health authorities say more than 275 people in seven states have now been sickened with an unidentified stomach bug.
7. Sneiderman murder charges dropped
Prosecutors are dropping murder charges against Andrea Sneiderman. She's the widow of Rusty Sneiderman, who was shot to death outside a Dunwoody day care in November 2010.
8. Arrests in Forest Park teen killing
Clayton County Police have arrested two suspects in the shooting death of 13-year-old boy Steven Diaz.
9. Tropical Storm Dorian
Tropical Storm Dorian formed in the eastern Atlantic Ocean on Wednesday, marking the fourth named storm in a hurricane season that began June 1.
10. Remains found in Cherokee County
The GBI has determined the remains found in the Woodstock woods over the weekend belong to a black man, about 6 feet tall and between 27 and 53 years old.
