Tractor trailer crash blocks part of I-285

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. -- An accident involving a tractor trailer has shut down part of Interstate 285 in Clayton County Thursday morning.

The wreck happened on the westbound part of the interstate near Riverdale Road.

The Georgia Department of Transportation said three lanes of I-285 west and one lane of I-285 east are shut down near the scene. The road is expected to reopen at around 12:30 p.m.
