Former DeKalb County School Superintendent Crawford Lewis

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. -- Former DeKalb County superintendent Crawford Lewis pleaded guilty to one count of obstruction or hindrance of a law enforcement officer on Wednesday afternoon.

Lewis' guilty plea comes three years after he was indicted on racketeering charges as well as theft by a government employee and bribery.

Sources say Lewis made his plea in a DeKalb County courtroom around 2 p.m. before Judge Cynthia Becker.
