MARIETTA, Ga. -- Marietta Police are searching for a man they say tried to abduct a child near Franklin Road last week.
According to a release from the department, the attempted abduction occurred on Nov. 6. at the Ridge Pointe apartment complex.
Authorities say a white man attempted to abduct a 9-year-old boy while he got off his school bus. The child was able to break free of the suspect and run home.
Police conducted a search for the suspect and were unable to locate him.
