Floyd Palmer, 52, the suspect in the World Changers Church shooting

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. -- A man accused of shooting a church volunteer will have to wait another day to face a judge.

Floyd Palmer was supposed to have his preliminary hearing Thursday morning, but it was pushed back to Friday.

Police say Palmer opened fire during a prayer service at World Changers Church last month, killing Greg McDowell.

Palmer was arrested several hours later at Lenox Mall and now faces four felony charges, including murder and aggravated assault.

At this point, police haven't released any details about a possible motive.
