ATLANTA -- While the Midwest is bracing for blizzard conditions, people in the Southeast are dealing with thunderstorms, some of which have already caused damage in parts of Alabama.

The Weather Channel reports people being rescued from debris in a Mobile suburb. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
Power outages and downed trees are also being reported city-wide.
Numerous pictures are popping up on Twitter of cars flipped over at a Mercedes dealership seen above.
Here in Georgia the biggest threat for severe weather will be in the southern section of the state. North and Central Georgia will have the main threat of strong winds up around 40-70 mph.
