ATLANTA -- A large tree fell across Cascade Road in southwest Atlanta Thursday morning, knocking out power to about 200 homes.
The tree fell at around 3:30 a.m. in the 2000 block of Cascade Road SW. No injuries were reported.
Atlanta Parks and Recreation crews will clear the roadway and Georgia Power crews were dispatched to restore power.
Atlanta Police spokeswoman Kim Jones said traffic has been detoured between Delowe Drive and Boulevard Lorraine while crews work to move the tree.
There was no immediate word on when Cascade Road would reopen.
