JONESBORO, Ga. -- Clayton County police have arrested a 22-year-old man accused of robbing a Jonesboro Metro PCS store.
Anthony Paul Smith was taken into custody Wednesday. He is accused of robbing the Metro PCS store on Tara Boulevard on Sunday evening.
Police believe Smith is also responsible for other robberies in Clayton and Henry counties. Henry County Police Sgt. Joey Smith said investigators have charged Smith in the Jan. 7 armed robbry of the Metro PCS store on Hudson Bridge Road in Stockbridge, as well as an additional robbery in the city of McDonough.
Smith has been charged with aggravated assault, armed robbery and firearm possession in Sunday's incident.
