CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. -- Inalfa Roof Systems announced Thursday that it will expand its regional headquarters in Cherokee County, creating 100 new jobs and bringing $6 million to the area.
The 165,000-square-foot facility is located in the Cherokee 75 Corporate Park in the Acworth area. The company, a provider of vehicle roof systems, plans to expand it by 45,000 square feet.
"Inalfa is a great example of a company that's been able to make the most of all that Cherokee County has to offer," Cherokee Office of Economic Development Chairman Marshall Day said in a release. "We recognize the importance of existing industry and will continue to be an advocate for them for years to come."
The expansion will allow Inalfa to add a bi-processed injection molding operation that places black lining around sunroofs, according to a statement from Gov. Nathan Deal's office.
Inalfa said the expansion will be complete by September 2014.
