ATLANTA -- No one was hurt when a van ran into a house in East Atlanta Thursday morning.
The driver of a white van drove his vehicle into a house on Van Epps Street SE at around 3 a.m.
After hitting the house, the driver then ran into a power pole, bringing it and some wires down.
Atlanta Police Capt. Jack Snowden said Georgia Power had to cut out power to some residents on the street as crews worked to fix and pole and lines.
The driver's name was not released, but Snowden said he had an active warrant for failure to appear. He may be charged with speeding and failure to maintain control of a vehicle in Thursday's incident.
