ATLANTA -- Thousands of North Georgians woke up without power after Wednesday's storms.

Statewide, about 2,400 Georgia Power customers are still in the dark, mostly in metro Atlanta. Customers can report outages by calling 1-888-891-0938 or visiting Georgia Power's website.
In North Georgia, 5,150 Georgia Electric Membership Corportation customers are without power. Customers can report outages to their local EMC.
